About Us

  1. Our organization: Hope for Haiti Tomorrow Inc. is a domestic charity that is not solicited funds from a foreign country. We are operated exclusively for the purposes of charitable and any activities in the United States or special project we plan to operate in Haiti will be conducted under our full organizational control. (Please see attached copy of Donor agreement).
  2. As domestic organization with a mission statement, and solicitation funds to provide that Hope for Haiti Tomorrow Inc. will raise funds to support projects carried out in the field. With no foreign recipients Hope for Haiti Tomorrow inc. will be intensely focused on its relationships with his volunteer members from the US. In a “privileged partnership” arrangement with, the organization exchange staff and brief each other at least monthly on field operations. Most of Hope For Haiti Tomorrow inc. board members will be served as volunteers. The organization will have its annual meetings, at which time joint finances are evaluated and operations to be discussed.
  3. Our organization Hope for Haiti has the plan to assist educational project in Haiti. For that reason, out organization to get full control on the expenses will apply the following:

 

  • An agreement to indicate the educational purpose of the grant and limits the use of funds to that purpose and disbursement to be started along with a signed copy of the grant agreement.
  • Review and approval of the project:
  • Establish a special committee to assist in the management of the project;
  • Establishment of a separate bank account;
  • Separate financial and administrative records of such contributions;
  • Supervise of the expenditure of the funds accordance of the policies of the organization.
  • Inform by sending letters to the contributors of the management of the project.
  • Conduct audits or compliance reviews in observing the procedures.
  1. The Treasurer of the organization has the responsibility to investigate and report on fundraising activities as well as project undertaken by the charity in the year. A report to be prepared in explaining the use of funds and this report should include details of the performance achieved against the objectives set for the project or activities. It should also comment on any expenditure for the project. Such investigations and reports to be held during and after the operation of the project and at for all other activities an annual report and accounts must be produced to explain where the money comes from and how the charity disbursed the funds. However, on the basis of each project we are using accruals accounts to report financial activities on the basis of when the activity happens,
  2. The following will be used to track grant funds:
  • Copies of receipts for all monetary contributions.
  • Original or true copies of financial statements.
  • Written reports to explain the details of the expenses in providing both narrative and financial information. The reports are required at least one every six month and sometimes more frequently during the operation of the project.
  • Site visits by staff, during the term of the grant or project or afterwards) that more attention is needed or desired.
  • Financial reports of actual expenditures against the grant funds, certified by the chairman of the organization, and program narrative reports that describe the status of the project.
  1. In the event there have been changed since last documents provided updated financial and operational information is generally requested. In other case, the due diligence will be performed in conducting a post-grant evaluation before a new grant is made.
  2. Our organization is located in the United States and English is the primary means of communication. We will have all grant agreements to be written in English. If there are documents in another language it will be correctly and accurately translated into English
